Position Vacant  - General Manager, Riddell District Football League

The RDFL General Manager position presents and exciting and unique role. It will require an ability to coordinate and control the junior and senior football competitions and a netball competition currently conducted within the region. 

Reporting directly to the RDFL Executive, the General Manager is responsible for building the RDFL business, ensuring its future development and success through a range of commercial, sport and participatory objectives.

 The RDFL Executive is looking for a General Manager who leads with integrity, has the ability to continue the RDFL’s growth and development, whilst bringing a commercial edge to the organisation and delivering strategic objectives.

 This role, based in Sunbury, will require the following key competencies and experience:

 ·         Current or previous football management experience

·         Excellent communication, presentation and administration skills

·         Knowledge and/or experience with financial management

·         Ability to work extended hours, including weekends, during the football season

·         Ability to work with the RDFL Executive, club presidents and all other stakeholders in leading the RDFL forward.
